• Day 1: Removable Partial Dentures

  • Assessing patients and the oral anatomy

  • Key tips on designing a partial denture in under 10 minutes

  • A step-by-step analysis of how to achieve the optimum designs of

    • Support (including guide planes, rest seats and tissue support)

    • Direct retention

    • Indirect retention

    • Major connectors including Scandinavian Design

    • Minor connectors

  • A visit - by- visit analysis of impression techniques, impression materials and communicating each stage with the laboratory and patient ​

  • Try in, fit stage and after care

  • Costings and Consent 

  • An overview on Digital Dentures

  • Hands On: Prepping rest seats, 3-5 partial denture design cases per delegate.

• Day 2: Complete Dentures

  • Assessing patients and the oral anatomy for a predictable complete denture outcome

  • A visit - by- visit analysis of impression techniques, impression materials and communicating each stage with the laboratory and patient ​

  • Design principles: denture shapes, teeth shapes, retention and support, suction techniques, personalising tooth positions

  • Live demonstration of how to border mould using a special tray

  • Hands On: border moulding, adjusting wax rims for jaw registration stages​​
